This traditional wooden Russian Orthodox Crucifix features the sacred icon of the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ in the classic three-bar cross design. The upper bar bears the inscription placed above Christ’s head, while the slanted lower footrest symbolizes the path of repentance — pointing upward toward salvation and downward toward rejection.

At the top is the icon of Christ Not Made by Hands (Holy Mandylion), reminding us of the divine origin of the image of Christ. The base depicts Golgotha with the skull of Adam, signifying the redemption of mankind through Christ’s saving Passion.
